We've been working on learning our 3-D shapes! We've been singing about them, finding them in the evironment, collecting them in our 3-D Shape Museum, and constructing them. Today, we sorted them and then... we ATE them! What fun!! I keep hearing "Can you take a picture of ______ and put it on our blog?" That's exactly what I was hoping for when starting this blog - I'm so happy! So here you go... here are some random pictures, as requested 😊 Pattern necklaces Designs made with shapes Creations made with our new gear set (and friends)! The "Frog Game" We had a visit from the Reading Fairy! At the end of reading workshop, we found a letter from the Reading Fairy complimenting us on reading so quietly. She even left us golden star stickers to wear to lunch! PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention and Support and at Einstein, it means that we strive to be SAFE, RESPONSIBLE, and RESPECTFUL in all areas of our building. In the hallway, that means, when waking in a line, we stay in our own space, we keep our arms still and we are super quiet. In kindergarten, we even "put a bubble" in our mouths while walking in the hall to help us to remember that the hallway is not a place for visiting. When adults in the building notice our line walking the PBIS way and give us a compliment, we earn a star for our door. Ten stars on the door equals a special treat for the whole class! Well... they did it!! They have earned 10 stars by walking in a line the PBIS way! Go Kindergarten!! |
